Waterworks, an exhibition curated by the talented Cash Brown, presents documentary photography, photo essays, objects and ephemera from Central Highlands Water’s archives. This showcases 150+ years of supplying water and sewerage services to our region.

Central Highlands Water are proud sponsors of the 2019 Ballarat International Foto Biennale (BIFB), which attracts significant International and Australian photographers and is one of Australia’s pre-eminent photographic festivals.

The main exhibition plus kids’ activities is at The Mining Exchange (Shopfront), 14 Lydiard Street North, Ballarat Central.

Another component of our exhibition features the water fountains around Lake Wendouree. This exhibition is self-guided – stroll around the lake, and discover some of Ballarat’s hidden secrets.
