Maryborough /Carisbrook Region (Tullaroop Reservoir Pipeline)
Central Highlands Water has a small number of customers,
generally outside of its declared water supply districts,
connected to water mains that transfer water that is not treated
or disinfected from its reservoirs to water treatment plants
at the above locations. The water is not of a quality suitable
for, or fit for the purposes of human consumption (including
for drinking, brushing teeth, cooking or the preparation of
food). The water does not meet health standards such as the
Australian Drinking Water Guidelines 2004 or the requirements
of Victoria's Safe Drinking Water Act 2003, and Central Highlands
Water is also unable to guarantee continuous supply.
The water supplied to these properties is subject to the
conditions of a Separate Written Agreement. New owner/s of
these properties will be required to enter into a new Separate
Written Agreement at settlement, if supply is to be continued.
