The
beautiful Water Wise Garden at Kirks is designed to show visitors
the effective use of water in the garden. The garden features a
wide variety of common plants and flowers found in various planting
and watering conditions.
The
gardens and reservoir park are open daily from 8.00 a.m. (apart
from days declared a Total Fire Ban). Closing times vary according
to seasons up to 8.30 p.m. during summer and 5.00 p.m. during
winter. There is no entry fee to enjoy the picturesque gardens and
park.

Gong
Gong Reservoir Park contains an interesting collection of native
vegetation. The diversity of plants and animal species gives Gong
Gong Reservoir Park a high conservation value.
Gong
Gong Reservoir Park is also a valuable place for community catchment
awareness. Central Highlands Water has developed a "Catchment,
Habitat and Water" Trail which shows visitors the importance
of native plant species to our environment, water quality and habitat.
Visitors
can obtain a brochure at the park to guide themselves through 16
interesting and informative points, while admiring the scenery.
