Kirks Reservoir Park

One of the region's most exotic gardens, Kirks Reservoir Park is situated just 10 minutes drive from the Ballarat CBD.

Central Highlands Water staff keep the catchment area and parkland in beautiful condition. The rotunda is a popular spot for outdoor weddings as is the grassed area marked as Zone 3

On days of high risk - high winds/thunderstorms - the Park will be closed to the public. On days of total fire ban, vehicle access will be closed off - visitors can park in the allocated parking area at the entrace to the Park and use the pedestrian gate to enter.

Source water quality protection is about ensuring that the water in our catchments, rivers, and groundwater reserves is of the highest quality practicable. It is the first step in providing a multi-barrier approach in protecting water quality in its journey from the catchment to the customer’s tap.
