Central Highlands Water are proud to support the opening of Ballarat’s Inclusive Play Space.

Having moved into Autumn the Hepburn and Daylesford regions continue to experience lower than average rainfall, leading to lower than expected inflow into Central Highlands Water catchment areas in the region.

World Environment Day (5 May), is intended to encourage awareness and action for the protection of the environment. This year’s theme is the illegal trade of wildlife.

In order to improve the Maryborough and District water supply, Central Highlands Water is on track to deliver a $5.6 Million water investment to safeguard the region from further drought and climate variability.

Central Highlands Water have partnered with the Hepburn Shire Council to install a brand new Be Smart Choose Tap water fountain at Bourke Square in Daylesford.

Central Highlands Water continue to focus on the Daylesford and Hepburn area to help provide reliable high quality water to local residents and businesses however, low rainfall and a dry hot summer means every drop counts.

The International Day of Families is held on 15 May every year. The Day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993 and reflects the importance the international community attaches to families. This year’s theme focuses on families, healthy lives and a sustainable future.
