Let's Talk Water with CHW
Central Highlands Water will today launch Let’s Talks Water; one of its biggest community engagement campaigns to date.
To kick-start the community discussion Central Highlands Water will be at the Stocklands Shopping Centre, Wendouree between 11am and 1pm (4 October), where CHW will be asking people to take part in a short questionnaire.
People will be asked to share ideas and thoughts about the future of water and quality of life in the Central Highlands; ideas on water usage, sustainability, liveability, the environment, rivers and creeks, future water sources and other topics they think are important.
Central Highlands Water Managing Director Paul O’Donohue said, “While a water crisis in our region is not imminent, we must continue to plan for a future that reflects our community’s desires and one that facilitates innovative solutions.”
“Our community is at the heart of what we do, so it essential that we take a grass roots approach and involve individuals, families and community groups in shaping our water future.” Said Mr O’Donohue.
