Infrastructure Optimisation Update for Daylesford and Hepburn Regions

Central Highlands Water continues to optimise water infrastructure in the Daylesford and Hepburn regions.

Due to unexpected high rainfall during the previous month, it has been necessary to extend the project deadline of works to the low level basin in Hill Street, Daylesford.

Works to strengthen the embankment on the North East side of the low level basin are also underway.

All works are expected to be completed by late 2016, early 2017.

Central Highlands Water Managing Director, Paul O’Donohue said, “While the works are finalised, residents can rely on continuity of service from Central Highlands Water.”

“And even though water storage levels look positive in the lead up to summer, we urge residents continue water efficiency behaviour at home and work,” said Mr O’Donohue.
