WaterAid Golf Day Another Great Success!The 2nd annual CHW WaterAid Golf Day on World Water Day, Thursday 22nd March 2007 has been hailed another great success following on from the inaugural event last year. The organising committee were delighted with the results of the day. All of the 84 participants and supporters had a great time; the event received good local exposure; and best of all the magnificent sum of $8,990.90 was raised for WaterAid. The amount raised is sufficient to provide up to six communities with water hand pumps each providing clean water for hundreds of people in New Guinea and Timor-Leste (The CHW WaterAid Committee’s chosen WaterAid projects for 2007). The CHW WaterAid Committee is delighted that their efforts will make a difference. Such a great result could not have been achieved, of course,
without the fabulous support of the event’s sponsors and
