The Water Plan is a 5-year business strategy that sets out:
- Infrastructure projects we intend to complete to deliver water, recycled water and sewerage services to customers
- Business costs, such as pumping water and operating treatment plants
- Our service standards
- The amount customers will be charged for our services.
The Plan outlines the revenue required to ensure our financial sustainability and ability to deliver quality water and wastewater services to the community.
The Essential Services Commission – the independent economic regulator of the water industry – is responsible for the final approval of the Water Plan. It determines key parameters such as pricing and service levels.
