Catchment Habitat and Water Trail
The Catchment Habitat and Water trail is located within Gong Gong Reservoir Park. Set along the Yarowee River this area is managed as a native park containing a valuable collection of native plants, interesting geological features and allows for stunning self guided bushwalks along the river.
The diversity of plant and animal species gives the park a high conservation value. The replanting of indigenous species at the park in conjunction with local schools and community groups is typical of the management strategies carried out by Central Highlands Water on water catchment areas.
Guided group tours of the Catchment are available. Please book by telephoning (03) 5320 3157.
No dogs are allowed in the park.
