50 year Water Supply Demand Strategies

Central Highlands Water has developed Long Term Water Supply-Demand Strategies for the region.

These strategies detail Central Highlands Water's commitment towards supporting more efficient urban water use and identifying supply options to maintain a balance between supply and demand over the next 50 years. Each strategy has been developed following extensive consultation with the local communities and options have evaluated against a range of economic, social and environmental criteria.

The strategies will be reviewed every 5 years, and together with other feedback received on service standards and pricing, will form the basis of Central Highlands Water's Water Plan submission to the Essential Services Commission later this year.
